overview

• You own your recordings. They are stored on your device and in your own iCloud.
• We do not store your recordings. We can't listen to your recordings, copy them, or recover them for you. (If this becomes a problem and people lose their recordings, we may give people the option to opt in to us saving their recordings as a backup.)
• No advertisements. There are no ads in the app.
• We do not track your data. We do not track any information about you, and we do not track how you use the app.
• We do not sell your data.

the team

Lilliya is a one-person team operated by Marushka Hirshon. When Lilliya incorporates, this section will be updated appropriately with the company's name and registered address. The company will continue as the data controller. If you have any questions, please email us at support@lilliya.app.

your recordings

You own your recordings. Everything you record in Lilliya is stored on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your private iCloud storage. This is what Apple calls the CloudKit private database and it is tied to your Apple Account and protected by Apple's security.

We do not store your recordings. Your recordings never pass through or rest on any server that we operate. We do not have any copies or keys to your songs. At this time, we can't access your audio.

You can share your playlists with family members or caregivers through Apple's iCloud sharing. This remains under your control. You are in control of who listens to your recordings. You can also revoke that access at any time.

You can download your full archive as ordinary files at any time from inside the app.

Deleting a recording in the app removes it from your device and from your iCloud. Because we do not have any copies of your recordings, deletion is final. Please export anything you would like to keep before you delete it.

what the app collects about you

We do not collect anything about you. We don't collect information about how you use the app.

purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple, so we do not have a copy of your payment details. Apple provides us with anonymous sales reports containing no identity and no payment information.

the waitlist & this website

If you join the waitlist on lilliya.app, we collect your email address and store it with our form provider. We use it only to write to you about Lilliya. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to support@lilliya.app. Our website does not have advertiser trackers.

children

Lilliya is made for expecting and new parents who are adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The voices in your digital garden belong to your family and stay in your family's own iCloud.

your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data and to object to how it is processed. For your recordings, these rights are built into the app itself, since export and deletion are always an option for you. For the waitlist email, you can email us and we will act accordingly. If you are in the EU, you can also contact your data protection authority.

retention & any changes

We do not retain recordings. We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe, until you ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist is finished upon launch. If this policy changes in any significant way, we will create a new version here with a new effective date and a clear explanation of any changes.
